Dens, Portals, and Feathers

Roar Jammers!  Who knew there was going to be an update today and didn't tell me? :p  SHAME on you.  But before we get to that, the new item is the Sea Star sold in Kani Cove!

 It's cool that you can change the type of sea star. o.o
Now let's get to it!

Denstravaganza means all dens are half price.  Haven't they done something similar before?  Oh well, it's still a nice gesture.
The second page is all about adventure portals.

This means two things. #1. The adventure base camp has shrunk and been replaced by a single portal.

It is kinda sad that we're losing some land here, but when you really think about it, it's more practical this way.
#2. Now to make it even easier, there's an adventure tab on the world map.  (And also a new epic dens one.)

I think the adventures highlight as you do them?  Or as you have access to them?

Eagles.  It has to be eagles, right?  Funny how they said "gliding" instead of "flying."  But eagles can glide.  I think.  Or it could be a different bird entirely!

Pine Trees

Roar Jammers!  I am SO VERY SORRY about not posting yesterday. D:  Bunch of schoolwork + trying to get the contest all together = Rocky's not able to post.  But anyway, it looks like I missed a really cute item yesterday!

Looks so...traditional and Jamaasian.  This item is now a part of my snowman circle!

Today's item is also a pine tree.  (But it looks like he's put on some weight.)

 Up on the hill in the snow fort den is a nice place for it. :3

Here's something fun you can do.  If you switch your animal and then move on to a building's door, you can stand there without entering.  If you do that for the Flag Shop, it looks like you're inside!

Rare Leg Armor

Roar Jammers!  All contest entries are due today, which means you need to have sent your outfit or commented that you want a screenshot by the end of today.
The rare is on the third to last page of Jam Mart.  It's the Leg Armor!

I would expect the coloring to be a wee bit more...bright.  Because it's the rare and everything.  But other than that, looks good!  Creativity: 4/5, Coloring: 3.5/5, Price: 5/5, Fitting: 5/5  Do yall agree?
Oh, and by the way, why do you think they always sorta "hide" the rare?  Instead of putting it on the first page?  I suppose to increase its rarity by making it less obvious...
And another question, why is this stuff called leg armor?  I'm gonna get ready to battle some phantoms by protecting my legs with leaves!  :D

The arctic hood that used to be sold in the Hot Cocoa Hut is now gaining rarity!

But they are in no way "beta."  There IS a certain color that was only sold in beta times.

But the other colors were available last winter.  Apparently AJ HQ is not bringing them back this year...

Okay, now for ze Awkward AJ Moment.  You're standing right next to someone when they say "Say I if you have green headdress!" (Or something like that.)  And you're the only one who is wearing a green headdress.  And you don't really want to trade that person...So if you're me, you just leave right away and pretend you didn't hear a thing. XD

Now for another new segment!  (I just looove segments, don't I?)  It's called Rarer vs. Better.  I'll show two items.  And YOU guys can comment which you think is worth more, and which you think is actually the best-looking.  Or maybe rarer does equal better?  Let's find out!

Pet Ice Rink

Roar Jammers!  Guess what?  Tomorrow is the last day to enter my contest!
Today's new item is the Pet Ice Rink.

This is so cute!  Especially in contrast to the blah boring items we've been having.  It's interactive!  The only thing is, what is the purpose of the pets?  To stand by and watch?

Now for a new segment I like to call "Awkward Moments on AJ." 
This one happens quite often, actually.  Especially since my den is always unlocked.  You  go to your den and see 3 or 4 random people sitting on your couches having a conversation.  You're just like "Um, hi."  (And walk away SLOWLY.)
