Heart Locket

Roar Jammers!  The traditional Heart Locket has made its return to stores.

Although it's pretty easy to get this item year round.  But still a nice touch to add to any outfit.

This is a random thing that I've never really considered before.  You know how the lands are right smack next to each other in Jamaa?  For example, you start in snowy Mt. Shiveer.

 Walk a few feet, and you're suddenly in a warm, foresty Sarepia!

Just another way that AJ does the impossible. XD

I've started making game-tip videos! :3  They're super short, less than a minute long.  (And they have no sound.)  I'll post some randomly.  Today's is Wind Rider!

Heart Pathway

Roar Jammers!  The new item today is the Heart Pathway.

Reminds me of the peppermint walkway thing.  I think they could have added a smidgen more detail to the hearts.  But other than that, looks pretty good!  Here's something you could try. :D

I saw this outfit pairing someone did with the top coat that ACTUALLY MAKES IT LOOK GOOD.

It's really awesome with a head flower!  Who knew?

Heart Patch and Friendship Party

Roar Jammers!  Today's returning item is the Heart Eye Patch sold in Bahari Bargains.

Not very exciting, eh?  But a Valentine necessity for sure.

Now I'm pretty sure I'm the very last person to post about the Friendship Party. XD  But anyway, the setting is pretty much the same as last year.

But a Liza alpha statue has been added.

And thankfully some new items, along with the returning walls and floor.

Sad that non-members only get the brown heart mat. O.O  Although I *think* it might be chocolate.  Although who would want to walk on a chocolate mat?  What a waste of yummy goodness!
The heart tree's my favorite, even though the crookedness of the trunk in kinda weird. ^.^

Anyway, for a comment question....I noticed that on one of the polls, people prefer collecting clothing items to den items.  What is YOUR personal preference and why?  I'm more of a den item collector myself.  But you'd get to show off your clothing items to more people. XD

Return of the Pink Chests

Roar Jammers!  Notice how I tried to make the post title sound all horror movie-ish?  But I guess pink chests can only be so scary. ^D^

The first of the Friendship Fest items!  Plus, it's pretty cheap compared to other stuff.  If you could get the chest in other colors it would be even better.  But you can't, hence the name "Pink chest."

You know what this means, right?  The first Friendship Party has been spotted!

Too bad I have an appointment in 3 hours. >.<  I'll try to post about it as soon as I can.  Who bets it'll be the same as last year?

In Tree Top Gardens you see the little fly trap plant featured there:

But it has never been for sale.  Plants used to be beta until this shop came.  I guess they want to keep one plant rare?

Rare Flippers

Roar Jammers!  I looked through every land shop for the rare before the thought finally crossed my mind that it might be an ocean item.  And whata you know?  It was. ^.^

Rare flippers sold in Bahari Bargains.  Not the most spectacular item ever seen, but not the worst either.

Creativity: 2.5/5 (sorry, they're flippers.) 

Coloring: 4/5 (I kinda like the solid blue look) 

Fitting: Depends on animal

Price: 4/5

While looking for the item, I found some random ones on clearance!

Good to know, eh?  But something tells me these items won't be too horribly missed...

Ok, I'm not sure if I was the only one who didn't know this:  The Dandelion plants you can get in the Sarepia plant shop are interactive. o-o

I was just blown away when I realized that.  (Ha, see what I did there? BLOWN away? XD)

Cloudclaws mentioned something on her blog that I had no idea about.  AJ Academy!  You can get to this little sub-site my clicking on the link at the bottom of the AJ homepage.  (Or by clicking here.)

 It's basically an archive of printables and videos you can watch.  Pretty neat idea.  I like how AJ is trying to incorporate learning into their site.  A lot of kids probably don't play AJ to learn (ok, me) but if you pick up some knowledge along the way, no harm done.

Now for a rarer vs. better.  (This should TOTALLY be a Monday thing.  I'm officially making this a Monday thing.)  Which is worth more and which would you rather have?

Top Coat

Roar Jammers!  For anyone who's ever wanted to impersonate a detective, the new item is perfect for you. :D  It's the Top Coat!

Looks funny all sprawled out like that.  Actually on an animal it's OK.  The buttons are kinda weird and the details of the coat kinda lose their shape.

Temple of Trivia is one of my favorite games.  Not because I'm a genius at it.  (Ok, maybe I am a little. XD)  But because some of the questions are so darn hilarious!  For example:

 This one was quite a toughie.  Turns out a purpose of a sea turtle's flippers is not to dance.  What a shame.  

Some Temple of Trivia questions are actually kinda hard.  But those weren't. =p

Continuing the theme of the Sol Arcade, I remember when it first came out...everyone thought this rocket (or something) under the tarp might someday be revealed!

Furry Hat

Roar Jammers!  Vote on the contest here.  Today's brand new item is the...Furry Hat!

*Scratches head*  Well, several items look better on an animal than they look in the store.

But this item is not one of those items!  It kinda looks like I'm wearing a raccoon on my head. D:  I do think this was a nice IDEA though.  If only the top part wasn't piled up so high and the flaps weren't quite so furry.

Here's an interesting den I visited.  Putting frosting around the edges of a Snow Fort den actually looks pretty good!

Now for a random idea on my part.  Doesn't it annoy you when you trade someone and you wait so long, only to be greeted with the "This Jammer can not trade right now" message?  When it takes forever, you figure the person is on BRB.  But how can you be sure?  They might just be thinking super hard on your trade. XD  The point being, there should be such thing as a "BRB" flag.  Whenever you have to do something, you just click a a button that puts up a "BRB" flag on your name tag!

It should be in place of the badge...

Here's a comment question:  What's the best (and what's the worst) armor?  My least favorite is the Scorpion armor...  The tail is just so wacky.

Pet Cabin and Sigurd

Roar Jammers!  The brand new item today is the Pet Cabin!

Even if you don't wanna put your pets in it, it still make a really cute decoration. :3
And a few Jammers have pointed out that Sigurd, the deer alpha, now has a statue in Mystery Emporium!

He's my new favorite. ^D^

Now for a couple of random things.  Apparently we convinced AJ HQ to bring back the portals.

But you can still have quick access to them from the world map.

A week or two ago, I renewed my membership.  But when I logged on, the little pop up saying my membership was renewed.... never popped up! XD  But I did get the days added to my membership.  I checked.  Yesterday when I logged on, the pop up finally popped up!

 Kinda random really.  And 13 days too late. O-o

I haven't done adventures in a while.  But I did Return of the Phantoms in easy yesterday and noticed the lay out had really changed.  It didn't take as long to complete. 

Is this the only layout that has changed?  Hmmm....

And EtherealComet pointed out something very, VERY interesting and informative.  (If you haven't noticed it already.)  The J.J. page where they talk about eagles has uppercase letters, yes?  Going down, those letters spell "Eagles."

I knew AJ would leave a hint like that! ;)  I was just not smart enough to notice it. XD

For a comment topic today, how do you think eagles will be incorporated into AJ?  Do you think everyone will ONLY be eagles, because they can fly everywhere?  Or will land animals still be just as popular?
