Phantom Cannon

Roar Jammers!  Enter my contest here.  Happy Night of the Phantoms to everyone. :D  The NOP themed item is the Phantom Cannon, found in Kani Cove.

Hee, look at all the ball-shaped phantoms.  Phantoms aren't so scary without their legs, are they?  Well, they're not scary even WITH their legs, but that's besides the point.  I wish this cannon was a land item and INTERACTIVE.  Who wants a cannon that doesn't even do anything? O-o

To celebrate NOP/Halloween, let's take a look at all the past additions of the Jammer Journal around this time of year.
First October 2010..

AJ had just gotten started, hadn't it?  I noticed how they condensed their writing into just a few pages.  Aaand, lookie, they had specific party schedules.

*Cranks up time machine*  Now for 2011!

Ooh, phantom gift.  And the phantom vortex was introduced!  Not to mention the Haunted Mansion den.

October 2012..

Now that looks more like Jamaa Journal I'm used to.
Finally, from just a few weeks ago-2013.

Obviously they reused a few things.  ^.^  AJ has certainly changed over the years.  Do you guys prefer the earlier format of the Jammer Journal or the current?

Witch Mask

Roar Jammers!  Enter my contest here.  A last minute Halloween item is here, the Witch Mask.

Why do witches always have such odd NOSES?  It's like, that's one of the requirements for becoming a witch.  You have to have a abnormally large nose.  Aaaand I don't know where I'm going with this.

Tomorrow being Halloween, or NOP (Night of the phantoms), the items will start going on clearance soon.

Make sure you pick up stuff from the parties too.  If anyone needs a witch hat, I have about..*looks through inventory*.. 20 of em'. o-o

Earlier, this weird person was talking about how they eat 20 kittens for breakfast or something.  Look..

Scorpion Tail Armor

Roar Jammerians!  Enter my contest here.  The final item in the scorpion armor set (I believe) is the lovely Scorpion Tail Armor.

I KNOW it's suppose to look scorpion-y and all that, but it's kinda weird how much the tail curves.  Because I'm used to tail armor being like this:

But that's ELF tail armor, riiight.  Anyway, here's someone with the whole set on.

They do look very much like a scorpion. ^D^

Alright, when I logged in this morning, I clicked on my JAGs before the diamond gift came up.

Behind the gift the words say "Thank you for playing with me!"  :D  So yeah, once I got my diamond it wouldn't let me click out of the JAG screen.  Then I had to go log out and log in again.  I guess that's what I get for messing with the ways of Jamaa.

 If you've ever taken a raccoon in water before, you'll notice how it's face is completely submerged.

Am I the only one wondering how it can breathe?  Raccoons do NOT have gills, people.  Jeez. ^^

Here's a den idea, that a lot of Jammers have agreed on.

Rare Scary Elf Bacelets

Not bad!  ^^  I think elf bracelets are one of the forgotten items, because they're not really rare.  But, they make pretty cute outfits. :3

Very true.  October seems to have gone by quickly.  November's birthstone is the Topaz, I think.  Is anybody collecting all of the stones?

Nessie Bat Armor

Our clocks went back an hour today.  So, (at least for the moment) I'll get the new items at 8:00 am instead of 9:00 am.  But, obviously, I still procrastinate and post later then I could.
Lets start with the Nessie Mask from Bahari Bargains.

They better have all their Halloween items out soon.  Because once the day is actually OVER, they'll have to put them on clearance, yada yada.
Once I realized I had missed an item, I tried to get back on AJ.  But, the globe just kept spinning and spinning and spinning...

Definitely a vital piece us the "Scorpion Armor" set.
It seems that whenever a buddy plays the newest adventure, it says that they are in "Untitled Room."

I say yes, while at the same time, no. First, I will talk about yes.
I think there should be more nm items more often. Lets face it: For this season there are how many nm Halloween items? Only 4. Clothes: Frankenstine mask. Den items: Spooky lights, Skull Tombstone, Candy Bowl. -.- Sounds boring, doesn't it? There should be more nm items, so it does't get boring! They can't get a proper spooky outfit or den! Every day, AJHQ should switch it off. Nm item, member item, nm item member item etc.

Secondly, no.

Members keep the game running, Jammers! It's like this: No members, no Animal Jam. PERIOD! AJ NEEDS members, so AJHQ managers can pay the people who work there! The people who create the pixels gotta get money for their hard work, and time.

Those are my opinions. So Jammers, I'm neutral on the whole thing. Happy Jamming! :3"

Halo Claws

Roar Jammers!  Let's start with the returning Bahari Bargains Halo!

Wouldn't they want to call it "Underwater Halo" instead of just plain halo, so it doesn't get confused with the land one?  Merp, I guess not..

And here are the Scorpion Claws from Epic Wonders.

 On an animal, they sorta look like they're floating in air. O-o

That's just a bit odd. 

Anywho, thanks to some Jammers, I figured out how to do the game request thing.  Turns out the glitch that we THOUGHT was a glitch a bit ago, was actually an improvement AJ HQ was trying to make.

Now you can say "Join me" instead of sending game requests to random people.

Aaand if you change your mind, you can exit out of it with this little button:

It might have been nice if this mini-update had been mentioned in the Jammer Journal.  Just saying. :p

 (On new animals) "First, about cheetahs, I think they shouldn't be sold in the diamond shop. Jammer's only options are to either buy a diamond card ($15.90/$25.95) or wait ten weeks (Or less). I think AJHQ knows how impatient some kids are, so, they have diamond cards, and then the kids will buy them, PLUS membership! Everywhere you go in Jamaa, there is mostly members, right? In all the worlds, its like that! AJHQ should have been getting enough money from that I think.

Secondly,
I think a few updates from now, thers should be a new animal! A squirrel! Actions i thought about! Hop: When it hops, an acorn appears below it's feet, and it pushes it into the ground!
Dance: Puts it's hand on it's hip, leans a little that way, puts it's other hand on it's hip, and shifts! Play: Digs into the ground, comes up with 5 acorns, and juggles them! Sleep: curls onto a ball and wraps it's tail around itself. :D "

Horn Helmet

Roar Jammers!  I did the full adventure finally, but first here are the new items.

The Horns from Bahari Bargains.  I could really take or leave this item.

And the Scorpion Helmet from Epic Wonders.  I don't know..it just seems AJ HQ needed something for their update so they created a new set of armor.  ^.^

So yeah, finished The Great Escape.  It was really clever how they ended it.  It could lead right into the next one called "The Phantom Volcano" or something. :D  But, I think it was funny how the phantoms locked up the monkeys' items.

And I like the end where you do a game of Wind Rider to escape from the tower.  Thank you to this commenter for explaining the prizes!

I keep seeing people say "Join me-Four Gem"  and stuff like that.  How are they doing it? :/

Also, a glitch in Jamaa Township.  By the Mira/Phantom statue people kept appearing from thin air.

So bizarre.
Thank you guys, AJR now has 20,000 views!  Which is 1/5th of the way to 100,000!  Okay, when I say it like that it doesn't sound too impressive. XD  But, it is defo contest worthy.  I'll post it tomorrow!

The Great Escape and More!

Roar Jammers!  Uh...AJ is having a non-loading span right now.  Did this happen to you guys? O-o  So, I got some of the pictures, but none of the J.J. So I used some pics from Animal Jam Jewel to help out.  Hopefully AJ will stop spazzing soon.

 So the main topic of this update is the new adventure, The Great Escape.

Oooh, yay!  Wait, this means previous adventures can become non member now.  Riiiight?

I haven't fully completed the adventure, but it looks pretty cool.

So basically, Cosmo just wants you to PURPOSELY get caught so you can figure out how the phantoms are making big blobs fall from the sky.  They still use elements from the previous adventure, like finding keys and lighting torches.  But it's also more do-it-yourself than the others.
I know one of the prizes is a large Mira Emblem.  Could you guys comment the rest?

Yes, now you can take your adventure invites outside of adventures.  Umm, yay?  I guess you could find more people that way.
